Purpose of the Course
This Course is for persons required to assess the emergency and providing basic Life Support and basic First Aid to stabilise patients prior to transfer to the emergency services.
Who should attend?
Any person who will be rendering First Aid to fellow employees and have already completed Intermediate First Aid.

Course Outline
Assist with the coordination and management of first aid providers’ activities on an emergency scene.
- Provide advanced emergency first aid medical care for a range of medical conditions to patients in critical or life-threatening situations.
- Provide wound care within advanced emergency first aid scope.
- Provide life support interventions on the incident scene and through advanced emergency first aid
techniques. - Handover patient with relevant report on the patient’s condition and treatment.
